Outcome Boat fully swamped by high waves, everyone rescued 
Description White caps slowly swamped boat about 800-900m from dock, coach, coxswain and 8 rowers taken back to dock in small launch, coach went back for boat while rowers changed into clothes provided by those not on the water that day, rowers sat in heated cars awaiting the boat's return, search and rescue called for coaches who had been gone for 30 minutes after dark looking for boat with no flashlights, coaches returned safely, everyone okay but most treated on-the-spot a few hours after being in the water for beginning hypothermia.
