This independent review vindicates all our concerns and recommends all the changes that we have asked for and more.
FISA also changed their international Rules of Racing to include the rule that boats competing in FISA events (Olympics, World Championships etc) should comply with this flotation standard.
It was commissioned in 2006 by the Minister for Sport, Richard Caborn, via Sport England following our meeting with him. The meeting was arranged as a result of a Parliamentary Debate instigated by our MP, David Heyes. Here is a link to transcripts of the speeches:
