Outcome all rescued, no injuries, boat damaged but repaired 
Description Water conditions were rough, current was flowing faster than usual. Attempting to row to a sheltered tributary river about one mile down stream where conditions were good. Hit by a wake from a fully loaded, fast moving coal barge, which lifted and separated boat at section. Water entered boat bot submerged about 6 inches below surface. Crew stayed with boat while coach brought rowers back to sure 3 or four at a time.
