Outcome She was in the water only about 3 minutes before being rescued by safety launches. All small-boat racing was cancelled for the rest of the day. Ernestine said she felt warm and comfortable within 15 to 20 minutes after being rescued. 
Description Women's 80-89 age group final at masters nationals was about to be rowed in whitecap conditions. Ernestine Bayer capsized while trying to get on stakeboat.
