Date July 1970
Location Danube between Slovakia and Hungary, International Tour of the Danube
Water Temperature unknown, very cold as usual for the danube
Boat(s) involved 4+
Boat Construction Open wooden recreational shell
Outcome 4+ swamped by wake, crew had to swim to bank. 
Description Boat swamped within a minute by the wake of a paddle steamer. Whole crew was forced into the water. Boat with swimming crew was towed to Slovakian bank. All rescued safely, but beginning hypothermia.
